Sep 6, 2009 at 6:24 PM Michael - I recently listened to this show and you were saying that you use drupal because their aren't any good cf cms alternatives out there.
I have a new project where the client is wanting a CMS. My skill set is cf and before I make the move to Drupal for them can you please take a look at the following open source cf cms, Mura ( www.getmura.com ), and let me know your thoughts on this? It seems like this might be a good platform for you to finally leave Drupal behind.
After you install this and play around with it let us know if you will be using this on future projects or if you will go back to PHP.
PS. Thanks for keeping the show moving.
Sep 11, 2009 at 6:26 PM Mike,
Please tape a show while "Lazy Dave" is on vacation. Dave claims that he has deleted more code than I've written, 2 shows ago, all I have to say "It's not my fault that he can't get it right the first time!"
It's funny that he gets pissed when I mentioned that he give mr the impression that he is lazy but he pisses me off when he calls me lazy for learning ORM and Frameworks!
Sep 14, 2009 at 1:15 PM Hey guys, on this episode Mike started to ask if it was possible to change the default username for the CF Administrator (and at that moment, Dave started coughing due to the fires out there at the time, and you guys forgot what you had asked.) I haven't yet heard the later shows, so don't know if you got back to this.
The answer is, yes, you can change the default username, which is "admin". To change it, see this technote: http://www.adobe.com/go/kb402459
But note that changing it is only of value on CF8 Enterprise, where you can now define multiple usernames (and passwords). On other CF versions, it doesn't help to change the default admin name though, since you never are asked for it anyway.
I will note that I have an extended article on that multiple user feature (for the Admin and RDS), and I discuss this default username as well, in an Adobe Devnet article at http://www.carehart.org/articles/#2009_1.
Hope that's helpful. Thanks for the efforts on the podcast.
